Faces Behind the Care

Jackie
I have been in the care sector since leaving college and in the learning disabilities area for the last 20 years.
I have been in the care sector since leaving college and have worked in many fields including Children’s homes and safe houses, elderly care, residential Cheshire homes, prison health care, before finding my real niche/love in the learning disabilities area to which I have happily stayed working in over the last 20 years.
I managed a residential home in West Sussex before relocating to here. I worked around the Borough, including the local day centre where i made many connections and met loads of the lovely group we support currently.
Entirety opening was a dream come true allowing us to support people putting there needs first and enjoying life to the greatest .
I am a very social person and love a good chat, trying new experiences and being part of whatever activity is going on.
I have a son called Bertie and Dog called Dolly and they both love meeting up with the group.

Lesley
I started my career as a Beauty Therapist and then took a full time job with a care company before starting Entirety in 2015!
My name is Lesley, I’m married to Clive and we live in Sutton and between us have 5 Adult children and 6 grandchildren.
I haven’t always been in care/ support, I started out as a Beauty Therapist in my early twenties. I always enjoyed helping people and started with a lovely lady looking after her a few hours a week, and eventually took a full time job with a care company before accepting a partnership with my colleagues and in 2015 we started Entirety!
What a fabulous time we have taking our lovely members out and about to their different activities from a walk in Park ,feeding ducks or Swimming or in our different Halls playing board games doing Puzzles, colouring, Dot-to-Dot or Cooking etc to name but a few all whilst having lots of fun and laughter along the way.
And we call this work ! It really is a great pleasure to help enrich our members lives every day.

Frankie
I guess I would say I am the joker in the pack. But that said, still supporting everyone as individuals and giving them the freedom to make choices and mistakes and to learn. Encouraging the areas they are strongest and supporting areas they need a little more help with. Understanding their needs and changes to those needs on a daily basis. All with a smile and a joke or two.
